My Dad, brother, and I stayed at Cut Foot Sioux Resort a couple of years ago. I wish I would have been quicker to post a review because Jake and Amy were amazing hosts and really helped make our trip extra special. My Dad had been going to Winnibigoshish his whole life and took my brother up there to fish over the years. My Dad had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer the year prior to our trip and really wanted to have one last fishing trip with his boys at one of his favorite places. When we reached out to Jake and Amy to see if their resort could accommodate our special needs, they went above and beyond to make sure we were able to have an amazing fishing trip with my Dad. I can't speak highly enough of their hospitality and determination to give my Dad a great experience at their resort. The fishing was great! The resort was everything that we needed. Amy and her son even helped my Dad bait his hook while fishing off the dock. They really made his last trip to Winni very special and my Dad kept bringing up how great of a trip he had with us at Cut Foot Sioux Resort. Besides being a nice resort on a great walleye lake, Jake and Amy showed themselves to be the kind of amazing people you want to do business with. I can't recommend their resort enough!

Fantastic resort. Clean cabins and terrific owners. Would recommend to everyone. One of the best fishing resorts I've stayed at.

Great service and accomdating owners with great kids that help out. Just finished a 3 night stay here for a quick ice fishing trip with 2 dads and three boys. Stayed in cabin 14, clean and roomie and typical of a northern mn fishing resort. Owners helped set up ice house rental on lake Winny. They also shared lots of tips and tricks on where to fish, get bait, etc. I would definitely go back here again if looking for a spot that has access to lake winny.

We love the owners. They are so friendly! After visiting many times we finally camped here and rented a pontoon. Absolutely loved it!
