Judy the proprietor ruined what would have been a wonderful stay for our small family. She was rude to us on several occasions and was most unaccommodating with a few simple requests. We followed their numerous rules and regulations but never felt at ease as we felt we were always being watched and our privacy intruded upon. Terrible service for a few hundred bucks a night. Good luck relaxing on your vacation in this beautiful property!
Homey, comfortable guesthouse located right on a beautiful sand beach operated by terrific people. What's not to love?
Great place. Your room is like renting a camp. Everything you could think of needing is in the room. Your porch looks directly our over the ocean.
My wife and I had a chance to take the kids for a quick trip to Old Orchard Beach, Maine and have wanted to stay at Billowhouse for some time. We stayed in The Dunes Garden Apartment and couldn't have been happier. Seldom have I felt more at home in OOB, even during the current Covid environment. The apartment was spacious & clean and we felt completely at ease. The apartment has a nice private closed in yard, with a gas grill available. We can't wait to go back! Hopefully, next time we can get there for a week or two! We would absolutely recommend The Billowhouse!
