The cleanliness of the rooms needs some serious help. Lots of hair in the bathroom. Vomit residue in the lift. No microwave as advertised. One towel for a double room. No Kleenex in tissue slot. Hair dryer broken, ironing board cover stained, and there was clothes from the previous guest still in the drawer. Sloppy maid service and maintenance. I am taking my complaints to Corporate.
The room was quite dirty. It was apparent it had not been vacuumed between guests: beer bottle cap and medicine foil pouch behind the TV stand, debris scattered around the carpet. The tub and shower had some mold. No toilet paper holder in the bathroom. Yes, they seem to be renovating the property, but keep the rooms that are being offered clean. There are better choices in the area.
TRASH! Everywhere outside and in the stairwells. Walkways had inches of ice on them. Facilities closed. No breakfast. No pool. Belongings from the previous guests were found in both rooms we had. Items in the fridge. Rugs were not vacuumed. We questioned if the sheets were even changed or just made up again. One of the staff had their car parked at the front entrance all day/night.The safety lock in our room looked like it was sawed off!
If I could leave zero stars I would. We checked in and checked out just as fast. There was dirty laundry in the halls. The room didn’t even smell clean and the bathroom door wouldn’t close. The bolt locked was only hanging on by a screw and the staff at the front desk was not helpful. The phone in the room didn’t work and the entire atmosphere felt like something from a horror movie.
My wife and daughter stayed for 2 nights. Overall the room was decent. However after a major snow storm the parking lot was not properly plowed and my wife found over a foot of snowed packed in behind her car. If it wasn't for the front desk clerk going above and beyond his job- he helped my wife (whom has a sever back problem and is unable to shovel) shovel out her car- my daughter would have missed a crucial doctors appointment. I am grateful for the gentleman at the desk helping my wife and daughter though maintenance isn't his job. His willingness to help ensured my wife's safety and that my daughter made it to her doctors appointment. Thank you sir.
