We really enjoyed our stay at RavenStone Castle. We stayed in the Unicorn room which was really nice. Large room with a nice view and jacuzzi tube. Breakfast was light and fresh, it hit the spot. The owners are super nice and very welcoming. The town of Harvard is cool to cruise around in and has nice places to eat. We will definitely be going again.
Me and my hubby wanted to experience something new, besides the Sybaris. So he found out that Illinois actually have 7 castles. So this one is owned by a lovely couple. It's a bed and breakfast, beautiful decor. We stayed in the unicorn room with a whirlpool and the tapestries are gorgeous. They also have the Egyptian room and others. Its a quiet magnificent place for relaxation.
Absolutely perfect. Stayed New years eve and the following evening. Great rates and even better ambiance. Wake up to bird filled trees(doves,blue jays,cardinals and many more. Stayed in the Egyptian room. Hosts were very welcoming,attentive and kind. Breakfast was very good as well. Hope to enjoy a summer or fall evening there in the near future.
Wife and I spent two nights. Had a great and unique experience. Lots of great food and places to see in surrounding area, looks far on map but not. Host were great! We did skip breakfast second morning but wanted to see few other things before heading home. Definitely do again! Breakfast was good!
BEAUTIFUL Castle! Wonderful breakfast! And the owners are an absolute delight! Best overnight experience I've ever had!!!
