There was ice and snow build up on our roof and it started causing leaking in our house. This is happening all over the area, so the first 5 roofing companies I called (3 were referred to me), were on a wait list for 3 weeks. I got ahold of Gus at Churches Roofing, and although my gut told me that it was strange that he had an opening tomorrow, and his fee was much higher quoted than the other places (double), we felt desperate because we had just moved into the home a week prior. From the beginning of their arrival, it was unprofessional. The guy that came started listing out new fees, and wanted me to pay him in cash. He actually said I could pay him in a carton of Marlboro Reds if I did not have all the cash. They used shovels, knocked shingles off of my roof, and after about 1.5 hours, they said they were done. They were not done. When my husband said he would pay them the last 150 dollars when they came back tomorrow, Harry (if that was even his name), said he wasn't leaving until he got all of his 2150. The pictures I took are after they left. Then someone said they would come out and fix it the next day (refer to texts), and never came. DO NOT use this company. They scammed us and refused to finish the job. Harry said he would come back the next day to shovel all the snow that was pushed in front of my door, but that never happened. We paid them 2150 in cash and it was a horrific experience. They took advantage of us, and we learned some expensive lessons. Run away from Churches Roofing.

Update 2/10/2021nnI'll leave this up as they got in contact with me apparently there were some extenuating circumstances. I'll set it at 3 stars til the roof is fixed.nnUPDATE 2/3/2021nnUnfortunately a couple weeks later the roof started leaking again in the same exact spot and I called Churches they came out and tried to fix it unfortunately that didn't work.nnCalled back Mid December a couple times and eventually got them on the phone they had a covid scare and their family has it and isn't doing well. Totally get it I'll call you back in January and lets get this sorted.nnI tried to get them back out there January 7th never recieved a call back, called January 14th no call back, Called January 22nd no call back, have yelped, emailed, facebooked and every other available option trying to get their attention this being my last resort as I don't want to hurt a small business and I get people are busy and warranty work doesn't pay.nnHowever it comes down to the initial issue was never fixed, they are unresponsive, and have not enforced their warranty.nnOriginal ReviewnnOn time on budget and got their work done in one day.nnRefurbished a 15-20 year old 1700 sqft bitumin flat roof with a crew of 3 the day before snow came. Stayed late to get it done as well to make sure the sealants could cure before the snow flew.nnOriginal quote had to be reevaluated during the process as there was some rot from a bad HVAC system that they had all the materials to fix same day.nnAll work came with a 15 year warranty that is transferable to the next property owners all written on the final invoice.

They were true professionals - added some solar tubes and some nice touches. They cleaned up every day after work and left my yard better than they found it. I'm totally delighted in their work and the products they proposed. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they procured the product and made it happen. I'd do biz with them again in a second. And I have a huge roof and spent a lot to get what I wanted.

Beyond excellent! Great team! Wonderful customer service and their work ethic is the best I have ever seen! I would give them 10 stars if I could. If you are looking for an honest roofing contractor use Churches roofing. I wouldn't use anyone else.

We are very happy with the service we received. Our job was completed in less than a week from when I initially contacted them! They were super friendly and easy to schedule with. The job was done well and efficiently. I will call them in the future for any roofing needs!
