We recently (Aug 2020) had storm damage to our roof and garage , we call Piotr from Max Roofing and he was there next morning sharp at 10:00 am time, Max Roofing immediately did the inspection and also took some nice ariel pictures with the drone to show us the exact damage which the storm had cause, Peter explained the entire process which is going to take for replacement of entire roof and the timeframe, and also gave us recommendations for types of shingle and the colors.nnBased on our experience dealing with Max roofing - and especially Piotr we would highly recommend their services.nPiotr and his crew was great to work with ,very knowledgeable and incredibly responsive and just an all around pleasure to work with.nFrom start to finish Max roofing was great and would definitely use them again in future if ever needed services again. Petr at Max Roofing is fantastic. My husband and I own four properties in and around Chicagoland and have used Petr twice in the last two years and he will be my go-to roofer going forward. At my own home he cleaned the gutters and installed gutter guards for about 1/3 of the price as many of the specialty gutter guard companies. He also inspected the roof while he was up there and provided a quote for when we were ready to fix which was extremely reasonable.nnThis year, we had some major water damage to an income property of ours in the city that has a flat roof. The damage was caused by a combination the extreme amount of snow and ice damming as well as the fact that it was time to replace the roof. I had Petr out along with another long-time roofer that I’ve used. Petr was over right away and caulked some of the obvious areas that needed immediate attention and talked me through my options (and provided quotes for multiple options). At the end of thee day, I ended up making the most expensive / best long-term decision to tear off the three layers of rubber/tar roof, fix all rot underneath, insulate and recover with energy efficient and long-lasting TPO roof material. TPO was only slightly more expensive but should last 2-3x (or more) as long, requires almost no maintenance, and is more energy efficient. While it was the most expensive of his quotes, it was very reasonable compared to other quotes I received. After removing the existing roof, it became apparent that there was significantly more wood repair needed than was initially quoted. He was able to stay closer to the original quited cost by using slightly thinner insulation (with my approval) which helped my bank account.nnAs for the actual install, Petr was able to book me within a week and did an awesome job managing the tight quarters — this building buts up against the sidewalk and only 3 feet of clearance between both neighbors. There’s also very little room in the back of the house so disposal was a nightmare scenario - in fact, my other roofer said that I have regularly used in the past said he didn’t even want to do the job because of this complication. On top of this, Petr handled my disgruntled / high maintenance neighbors beautifully, ensuring his plants were well protected and all debris was completely removed from his property at the end of each night.nnPetr has already done work my my neighbor and I’ll continue to recommend him to others. He does the job right and is willing to take in the complicated projects.
