My husband rented me a room here for my birthday to get a break from our 3 kids & let me soak in a tub (we have showers, no tub at home) & sleep. He called the hotel to make sure tubs are available & told the staff why, and they set extra towels & shower gel on the tub for me which I thought was a nice touch. I was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness and how fancy the lobby is. Some of the extras are closed due to The Current Situation, but I'm sure they're lovely when available. The staff was really helpful and lent me a corkscrew when I forgot mine also. I didn't use the cable because I was able to log into my streaming apps on their TV. The bedding is very white and the decor is tasteful - no loud prints or artwork. I was able to order from the restaurant and have it delivered to the lobby which really made my night complete.
Always enjoy the Marriott chain of hotels and related brands. First time visiting Marriott Oak Brook which conveniently located across from Mall and restaurants, plus quick access to highways. Lobby is modern and spacious which normally has an event center, bar restaurant, pool, fitness center. All which are closed currently due to Covid-19 policies. Will wait to visit this location again in busier times.
The going lady at the desk did her best to accommodate me during my stay. Even during this time. Only thing, no pool. That sucks!
Nice property with comfortable rooms. The only downside is all the dining and bar areas were closed during COVID. Definitely recommend!
Accommodations were fine, but I had reserved a wedding block for 2 nights and arranged for breakfast Saturday morning for my guests. They charged $10 above the price that was agreed upon. Very unprofessional of Brian Deanda, the event manager. They never got back to me either.
