Good lodging experience. Remodeled a few years back and still in good shape. Showing some age on shower enclosures however in the main quite a good experience. Cleanliness is excellent. Good hot breakfast served by masked and gloved host/hostess. Very pleased with my 2 day stay.
We were traveling with our daughter and the rooms were clean; beds were comfortable. Bathroom was very nice. Shower got super hot and had great water pressure! Front desk clerk at checkout wasn’t very personable.nThe breakfast was great! Eggs, sausage, oatmeal, toast, bagels, cereal, muffins, etc.nCOVID FRIENDLY. Everyone wore masks.nDefinitely coming back. We are leaving Holiday Inn Express in Salem Illinois. Another relaxing stay!! We travel through here going to projects to survey! Robin and Elena do a Great job of accommodating us. Julie in Housekeeping is Great at making sure your room is clean and comfortable! Ashley serves Breakfast in the mornings and does a Fantastic Job! Breakfast is delicious . We recommend this Hotel . Every staff member we came in contact with was pleasant and courteous. The room was clean and freshly sanitized (we could smell the cleaner) which made us feel safe and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again for sure
The night door man made two girls from cross country feel at home, coming in at 3am. We were leary at first but he really helped us feel like we were safe where we decided to stop with his professionalism and courtesy.
