Howard Johnson by Wyndham Downtown Gatlinburg

Our second stay at this location. It was a pleasant experience and we love the location to downtown. The cable was spotty during this stay. I always enjoy the private balcony.

Great location. Loved the balcony. Loved the fire pit. The room and lighting in the room were ehhh. Our shower water also wouldn't turn off. The sound was super annoying. House keeping came by once. Didn't go in room. Had us clean up and give them our trash & stuff. Gave us replacement towels that one time, nothing else during our 5 day stay. Not impressed.

Nice rooms, but I need to learn to clean rooms much better. Dirt up underneath the edge of the beds and found a sock behind a chair that was left from someone else. Goes to show that they're not cleaning in those areas.

Great location but still quiet. We were able to walk easily through town therefore not having to worry about parking. Our room was clean and was bigger than expected with a small kitchenette. The beds were comfortable. We had our own private porch that faced the creek and street. We would definitely try to get that room again!

I have to say. This hotel was amazing. We stayed here last minute on Christmas Eve and after seeing the room we decided to stay until Saturday. The rooms were clean. The bed were amazingly comfortable. The staff were so helpful. Renaldo went above and beyond for us. On Christmas day we were trying to find somewhere to eat , he went above and beyond to help us find something open.. my husband is a veteran and the went out of his way for us. We couldn't have asked for a better experience..The hotel has a great location.
