Evergreen Smokey Mountain Lodge & CVA

This place gets a bad reputation because the pictures online are a bit deceiving, but honestly it was not as bad as the reviews stated. I did not see any bed bugs, our room was clean, and the property was nice. It was disappointing that they were the only place not allowing guests to swim. We didn't have a single problem with the staff at all. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful. We got a good deal for our weeks stay and it's right on the strip next to food. It was the perfect spot. We have enjoyed our stay and are sad to leave in the morning. We will be back again next year for sure though. Thank you for doing a great job.

We drove 9.5 hours to get here. We reserved our room online. The property looked beautiful online but upon checking in we were highly disappointed. We walked into the room and immediately noticed how dirty the carpets were. The table had dirt and hand prints on it. The shower/ tub was disgusting. We checked the bed for bugs and although we didn’t see anything we were alarmed when we noticed the mattress protector was zip tied to the bed at one point. The zip tie was broken when we checked for the bugs. The mini fridge was not in working condition and smelled SO BAD. Which was a problem for us because we had a cooler with food in it. We went down to the front desk and talked to reception. We were offered another room but refused due to what we had seen just minutes before. Reception seemed more worried about loosing money than anything else. They refunded us for 8 nights but refused to refund the first night. We didn’t even stay 10 minutes. Horrible hotel. Even for the price. The pictures online are misleading. READ THE REVIEWS!!!!! They’re not lying. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Stayed for 2 nights 2/12/21-2/14/21 : The room looked decent upon entering for the first time, but the more you look around the more you see things that are dirty and in need or repair. Mild on the shower head, spray paint on bathroom ceiling to cover mold spots, baseboards not cleaned. For the price and reviews I wasn’t expecting much, but on the morning of our check out we woke up to BED BUGS! I informed the lady at the front desk as I checked out and she said she would “ mark the room for further cleaning” and offered no sort of refund for the bugs!

Me and my family will never come back here. My children woke up covered in bites. I look and there is bed bugs. Also the shower head was nasty and had mold on it. The light in the bathroom was put together and had bars of soap around it. Then in the same parking lot is a convention center that makes it where you cannot park your vehicle at the hotel. Also they also party there all night and it is so loud you cannot sleep.You only get 2 channels to watch on tv. The carpets were not clean and ripped. I spent 193 on a very bad experience. If I could give no stars I would.

My room is clean. Very friendly staff. Kimda far from.the center of town. I would most definitely stay here again.
