Old Creek Lodge

My family absolutely loved this lodge. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and very clean. We have a 10 month old so we did the white sock test on the hardwood floors and it passed. So we were comfortable with letting our son crawl around. The view from the balcony was perfect. The sound of the stream flowing with the fireplace going was very relaxing and what we needed for our getaway from the city!

The beds are very comfortable. The bar soaps they provide are vegetable based and doesn't contain any animal ingredients. The rooms are more spacious than the typical motel rooms. Some rooms even have a jacuzzi. The views out the balcony are great. The receptionist is very nice! It has definitely surpassed my expectations.

Almost want to give it a 1 star so we won't ever have trouble getting a room. Perfect place off the main drag. Quiet, clean and private. Will be staying here again for sure!

This is a great place to stay! The balcony overlooks 2 small rivers. The 4th floor rooms are great. We've been staying here for over 20 years. Everyone is very friendly & helpful.

The first night we stayed there we had to switch rooms because every time anyone in a near room took a shower or bath, you could hear it through the walls. This was VERY loud and kept us up until 2:30 in the morning. We then had to switch rooms that early as well. The new room had the same issue as well, but mostly happened in the morning. After we switched rooms we woke up the next day with big red itchy welts. Assuming it was hives we bought some cream and enjoyed our day in the city. The next morning we woke up with even more, and discovered that it was the result of bed bugs. We checked out after this! We are disgusted and hoping that we did not bring them home!
