The manager had worked a 16 hour shift! And was still so very nice. We were told our room was ready but it wasn't so we had to wait, but within 10 mins we were all set.
Hotel is near and faces US 65, so be sure to ask for a room on the back side. Highway noise did help drown out nearby rooms ... yes noise is everywhere. It was clean, with a very comfortable bed. Good staff. I've stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels since COVID started and this one had the smallest breakfast. Exercise room was closed.
Service was good. But no ventilation fan in bathroom. Hotel under remodeling, so noisy and pool was shut down.
Room had mold in bathroom. Beds were clean and comfortable. Night staff was wonderful. Day staff was rude
My room smelled like someone had smoked a pack of marlboros 5 minutes before I checked in. Additionally, the fitness center was the most dismal of any IHG property I've stayed at. Might choose a different location next time around.
