You can't use the bathrooms unless you're renting a cabin, even if you could use them, there are 3 showers that share a drain. You share the grime of your neighbors. If you pay in advance you will lose your money if you leave early. Pay as you Go!! The staff yells at you when you drive through the sites to slow down, even if you aren't speeding(5mph) Never to return!
Stayed in one of the camp cabins during the winter for 3 nights with my two medium size dogs and husband. It was very quiet and clean. not a long drive from some great hiking trails and 5 mins away from an Ingles for food. Bathrooms are a little old and cramped but kept clean and all the heaters work really well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The showers water pressure is good as long as someone isn't doing laundry at the same time. I would definitely recommend this to friends.
