Mountain Lake Cottages

Most magical place in the southeast. Feels like home with homie cabins and a beautiful lake front view.

This place is so magical, you would never realize how close to town it is! The lake is very peaceful and the cabins have everything you need. Whether you want to explore the surrounding areas, or relax on the lake, it's a perfect combination for everyone in your family. The lake has boats and tubes free for guests to make everything even easier for you. Staff are very friendly and helpful with anything you need. We will definitely return and have been telling all our friends!!!

It was a sweet ‘staycation’ and the kids loved the lake! Lake toys were a total hit. Super sweet walk around the lake. Very quiet. The cabins were rustic, and nice. When needs arose, management addressed right away! We’d come back for sure! Thanks!

We had to stay 3 nights to book the bungalow. The inside of the house was done tastefully with a full kitchen. Bathrooms were fine. Bed linens were very soft with all rooms having a nice mattress. Problem was one of the rooms had a funky smell coming from an old dresser in the room. My husband who notices nothing was even bothered by the smell. The second bedroom had very slight air conditioning bordering hot with a floor fan. The dock area worked out for our twelve year old to cast a line and catch four fish. The yard area is old. Expected for an older home but not kept up. The back dock area surrounded by tons of seaweed but pretty views. There is a small grill which we used. Inside there is a sitting area surrounded by large windows and a large table. There are chairs and a futon for an extra guest. A few windows were dirty and one cracked. Not a functioning lock on the outer back door, only the sliding glass leading into the main area of the house locked. There was not a paddle boat available. The canoe they had was older with a hole on the bottom but we used it for about one hour. You must walk down to the main dock to borrow and return to the same spot. They had tubes available too. The positive: We loved driving into town and enjoyed walking around. Very enjoyable. People in this area are super friendly. Hydrangea surround the property which I enjoyed. Interesting variety of birds and ducks in this area. Good lake for casual fishing. One note: there is not a side walk or walking trail in this area, you walk on the street or grass. The house is on a bend.
