This is a sweet mountain paradise! We did a couple great hikes with Falcon Ridge as our home base. The deck hot tub was such a plus after a long day of exploring. We brought all of our food and drink (due to Covid 19 and uncertainty about shopping and restaurants). The cabin had everything we needed to get dinner cooked.nnIf you want a fabulous view, you will encounter steep, curvy roads. Robin Roost does look daunting the first time, but we have all wheel drive and had no trouble. We did turn off the radio and had the windows down to listen for other cars. There are well placed areas to pull over at, if you do have to share the road. The owner was very responsive and provided spot on directions and helpful hints.nnWe woke each morning to the call of a turkey and ended each day watching the sun set over the mountains. It's a very peaceful place.

House was very clean and had every amenity we would have asked for. View was amazing and the hot tub an added bonus.

Enjoyed sitting on the patio, above the tree tops watching the crows fly. Had coffee in the AM and wine in the PM sitting in the rockers on the deck. Slept with the sliding glass door open to hear the rain and feel the cool mountain breeze. The private hot tub on the deck was amazing! Weather wasn’t good, but the house was awesome- we had a great time!

We had a wonderful, quiet, peaceful stay on the mountain at Falcon Ridge. It has a gorgeous view of the mountains & Maggie Valley. The owner is great. Very available & accommodating. The cabin is very comfortable. We are Floridians & wanted to see some color & experience cooler weather....we got both! I would recommend this get away to anyone that wants a peaceful quiet place to enjoy nature & experience a renewing & refreshment of your soul. A definite slow pace of life with hot tub, books & games(& TVs, if wanted)..Also, excellent WiFi reception. A place to get back in touch with your inner self away from the hectic busy lives so many of us have. Very close to lots of outdoor adventures & only 20 miles from entrance to Smoky Mountain Park! Waynesville is only 8 miles with its fun Main Street. Thanks for a lovely cabin to stay in.
