This is our second stay & both times our room has been clean, fresh & relaxing. Everyone is so pleasant and make you feel welcome. Close to everything as well.
The place is amazing. Quiet, peaceful and cozy. Full of historical facts and legends of Maggie Valley. The Moonshine suite was awsome very clean and comfortable. Our Host is the best I have encountered at a Bed & Breakfast.
Make sure you ask and confirm that the hot tub is usable and that you have hot water so you can take a shower. My husband and I have stayed there 4 times over the last 10 years because we loved it so much but were very disappointed in our last stay due to the above reasons. We reported that we did not have hot water and we never received a response. We then requested a partial refund since we were not able to even take a shower due to no hot water and never received a response. This place is not what it used to be!
The room was very clean and the setting was lovely. Things are weird right now, with Covid and all. So, it's hard to judge them on the individually wrapped sausage biscuits they provided for breakfast. The only negative was that there was no microwave in our room to heat up the biscuits. Somebody else had left already, and their door was wide open, so I microwaved the food there. I could certainly see staying there again once Covid passes.
Great Location, friendly staff, clean rooms, Rooms are themed. Definitely would stay again.
