I love this shop for their friendly, community-minded vibe, great selection of parts and excellent mechanics. They're located on my commuter route to UW so I've been stopping in for years now (undergrad and grad school, the saga continues...) and have always been treated with courtesy and respect. I can't wait for the day I get to walk in and order my custom bike. Support your local OG bike shop!
R + E Cycles makes fantastic bicycles. The twelve employees do fantastic work. The electric Rodriguez Disruptor bicycle is very smooth when crossing railroad tracks at an angle, it fits very well, less knee pain, and they helped me to find the bicycle components that are still made in the USA so I can use them.
Expert staff, everyone is always helpful, extremely knowledgeable. They built the perfect frame for me, saving me from injury and making for a nice smooth ride. I'm just about to get it back from having a seasonal, and a few other things done.. springtime in Seattle!
Smiley was awesome! Spent time explaining about their bikes and got a tour of the facilities.
