Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ruston

We stayed here a little over two years ago as well and loved the area, the hotel itself and the price. What we didn’t like was housekeeping stealing from us BEFORE we had even checked out. We got those items back that were stolen that time and let it go. Well we had a funeral to go to on Saturday the 13th and decided to try this place out again and wouldn’t you know it, they stole again. Only this time we had to check out and leave for the funeral immediately and couldn’t come straight back. I called as soon as I realized, told them the room number and they they hadn’t started cleaning it yet when we left and that we had a funeral we were about to walk into. The gentleman I talked to said he would go look and call me back. I never heard from him or anyone else so I called after the funeral was over and told them we were on our way back to pick up our item. They said it was never found and haven’t tried to do anything about it because their policy is that if it’s lost or stolen on their property it’s not their problem. So ! Even though the hotel is great and the breakfast is great and the location and price.. housekeeping will steal from you any chance they get. So make sure you TRIPLE check your things. What I forgot was incredibly and deeply sentimental to me and my family and can never be replaced. I wanted it with me though since we were attending a funeral and I deeply regret my choice. Before you check out, leave one person in the room at all times until you’re completely sure you’ve got everything. We will never stay here again nor another Holiday Inn. Which is sad because the hotel really was great.

Top notch facility. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Most of the staff are extremely polite and helpful. I've stayed in other hotels in Ruston for work but will never stay anywhere but the Holiday Inn Express again.

The hotel rooms are clean and the hotel for the most part is good. Only downfall is that the breakfast is never opened at the posted time . Stayed there 3 night and every morning the breakfast area was always open late . The breakfast area was open about 20 minutes late every morning. There was always minimum of 6 people that were waiting in line at the posted 6:30 am opening

Pleasant staff. Rooms are massive! By far the biggest double bed Suite as far as square footage.nnSomewhat difficult to navigate to if you're unfamiliar with the area. Otherwise perfect location for business or traveling to and from surrounding areas.

Very nice hotel with comfortable beds and clean room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was hit or miss, as I visited twice and it was resupplied after not having much the first go around. My furbabies enjoyed their stay too. It paid to be IHG member to save on rate.
