Let's face it... this is all about managing expectations. If you're used to sliding into the Hampton, this place isn't likely to suit you. However, if you're a tired and dirty thru-hiker, this is Shangri La. All the necessities are here... hot water, clean sheets, laundry, short walk to PO, grocery and outfitter. Couldn't have asked for more.
The bed was waaaayyyyy to soft but it was nice

Free shuttle for hikers during the bubble. Ron Haven is wonderful and his establishment caters to hikers during the late winter and early spring. The staff is tremendously helpful and kind. Reasonable rates for hikers and convenient to the outfitter and resupply options.
