I never write reviews but it is with immense pleasure that I am delightedly compelled to tell of my exceptional experience at The Mellon Patch! First I must mention the genuinely warm-hearted and exceedingly charming owners, Chris and Michelle whom you will fall in love with upon meeting. They make you feel like family and are so hospitable and kind that it almost hurts to leave in a good way; truly treasures among people! Second, their inn has this wonderfully comfortable feeling of home and getaway at the same time nestled between two gorgeous bodies of water a stone’s throw apart and the island is paradise. Lastly, among the beauty and relaxation you will experience; Chris is a spectacular chef and will indulge you with delectably memorable dishes that will have you coming back for seconds and thirds I swear! The inn also hosts limited seating for holidays which has become our beloved new tradition for Thanksgiving. He roasts and fries two turkeys to perfection with all the trimmings and fixings you could possibly imagine and then DESSERT!! It’ll be hard to leave room but if you try it’s totally worth it for sure. The stay, food and especially the people you meet make the whole enjoyable occurrence an unforgettable one that will have you coming back for more. Cheers!

Nice comfortable place to stay in the Hutchinson Is. area. We were disappointed that breakfast wasn't included..even tho it advertised B&B...because of the pandemic..

Cutest B&B,we had an emergency and had to come back home, but we will be back. Pretty property, close to beach and restaurants. Highly recommend.

I don’t usually write reviews but I really enjoyed my stay at the Mellon Patch Inn, even as it was a very short trip. The following is why I enjoyed myself so much:n-the owner Michelle is awesome and goes out of your way to make you feel welcome and you accommodate any of your needsn-the bedroom and bathroom were huge and the bed was SO comfortablen-the noise level was quietn-the facility is very homey and makes you feel comfortablen-Great locationnI would highly recommend this place to anyone and I hope to go back one day.
