My fiance and I moved in last month. The apartments are beautiful. I love the layout. They are so spacious and well kept.nnThe neighbors are so nice. The neighborhood itself is clean and well kept.nnThe parking is a little rough but not completely unmanageable at this time.
Since moving here construction on the fullynGutted clubhouse has not started and is currently not available to the tenants. At this time it looks as though it is being used as a storage unit for the maintenance crew. The landscaping is hardly taken care of, after being mowed once every two weeks, the sidewalks are not cleared off and leave a lot of dead grass and dirt all over. The garden beds are never weeded and are very rarely taken care of except to cut down some foliage to make them shorter. There are no security gates or guards at this time and management is very rarely on site.nnWe have dealt with quite a few maintenance requests that required multiple calls, emails, and a phone call to headquarters. The only staff on site at this time is the head maintenance employee. The trash section continues to be an issue, with two trash receptacles and one cardboard only receptacle, it is often overflowing and dirty only a few days after the city picks this up.nnThe apartments are aesthetically pleasing and quite large but it does not over shadow the extensive issues elsewhere.nnOn top of all of this, parking is still and continues to be a large issue with space. Every apartment is meant to have two spaces at this time. Not only are there not enough parking spaces for the tenants, it leaves no room for visitor spots.
Great location, clean areas, nice apartments.
First, these apartments are beautiful and spacious. We moved in a little over a month ago and we are thrilled with our new space. Five stars for the apartment itself. The grounds are also kept tidy and beautiful.nnThe only drawback for day-to-day living is the lack of parking. There is not enough parking to accommodate the average two cars per unit. The complex is not fully rented yet, but I foresee that becoming a much more significant issue when all of the units are occupied.nnThe main source of our complaints is the very poor management of this complex. Apartment staff is incredibly difficult to get in contact with. They have posted business hours, but rarely will someone be available in the office during those posted times and they rarely answer their phones. We have confirmed appointments with them in writing, only to arrive and find a locked and dark office. There have been weekdays where the office will not open until 11am and will close early at 3pm (without any notice of modified operating hours).nnWhen we were getting ready to move in, we had some questions about our lease. Trying to get these questions answered turned into multiple days of un-returned voicemails and emails before someone finally responded to us.nnWhen we toured the unit, we were told incorrect information about outlet availability and optional changes to our unit. Only after we signed the lease did management finally admit that we had been misinformed by their employees. Management also failed to honor the move-in deal they were offering new residents until we called multiple times requesting that our rent be changed.nnThe non-existent staff has exacerbated the problem of getting maintenance requests fulfilled in a timely manner. Even after submitting requests through their online portal, explaining the issue in detail (with pictures!), a repair person will arrive seemingly unsure of what we requested to be fixed.nnUltimately, we enjoy living here because of the size and spacing of the apartment itself, but the management on site consistently under performs our already low expectations.
I'll start by saying this review isn't regarding the apartment unit, but the apartment management. We love our space and are very happy with the unit itself, and would give it 5 stars if it weren't for all of our move-in problems. Our first bad experience was when we came to view the complex for the first time. We had an appointment confirmed in writing and they simply didn't show up, leaving us to wait around for them. It was hours before we heard back from them to reschedule. When we finally did see the apartment, they couldn't answer basic questions about pet rent and internet providers. Then our move-in experience was completely botched. We had paid our deposit, signed our lease, and scheduled a time to pick up our keys. When we went to pick them up, again they were not there. Waited an hour before they showed up, then the apartment wasn't even ready. We had paid extra to begin our lease on that day instead of the first of the month, had scheduled Comcast for internet installation, and took a personal day from work to move in, then couldn't move in. When we finally got in and got Comcast there, the unit wasn't even correctly wired for internet and we had to wait several days to get that fixed. We had a hole in the shower which got fixed about 3 weeks after moving in after I had to keep pestering them. Many of my neighbors had the same problem with their apartments not being prepared on the day they agreed. Corporate blew me off when I asked to be compensated for the day I paid for when the apartment wasn't ready. Beautiful apartment but incompetent management.nnUpdate: my apartment ceiling started leaking during a storm and then again every time it rained, and it took 3 weeks of me emailing management every few days for them to fix it.
