Felix worked on my bike (purchased on line, elsewhere) and resolved my brake, headset, and fender issues the very same day. Great service, good price. I could tell by watching Felix wrench on my bike that he is experienced and knowledgeable. Great to have a professional local bike mechanic available!
I have shopped with Dave at Black Bear for several years. He is one of the most honest retailers that I have ever met. On 2 occasions he has had a chance to sell me new (very expensive) bikes and both times he recommended that I make changes to my existing ride. He supports local group rides and also sets up a refreshment tent for his customers at the bi-annual Century Rides on the Withlacoochee Trail.nnThat is the sign of a great bike shop.
I was really impressed with the great customer service I received from Felix during my recent visit. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Which is important when you are making such a large purchase. I will definitely be back to see him for all my biking needs!

I was in the market for a new bike. I entered the store and was perusing for ten minutes. No one inquired to assist me. I am a female. A man walked in and immediately the salesman approached him in a friendly manner to assist. I found this to be ridiculous and demeaning. I was standing 8 feet away. I immediately left the store. I purchased a bike elsewhere because of this experience.
