An old style motel (think Schitt's creek) with the interiors totally renovated. It is set back a good distance from the highway, so noise was not a problem Full disclosure, rooms are small, but well designed. And very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. And I will admit that I got a good laugh when we were greeted by a group of very friendly chickens at arrival. They do apparently have a fire pit nightly, but due to the weather, it was cancelled when we visited. Also it is pet friendly A good choice if you are tied of the chain motels and want something with a little more character.
Not only is this a very nice place but my car broke down in their parking lot and everyone there was doing anything they could to help. Everything is clean and new, plus very stylish. By far the best place I've stayed in a while
The place is all updated, well kept, and such a cute cottage like experience you just can’t help but love it. The folks that run it are AWESOME and take care of anything you need with a smile!!! I would recommend this hotel to everybody because it is truly a gem!
This is iconic Americana at best!!! The motel or gorgeous inside and out. Some of the most amazing people run it and they make you feel right at home.nSet in beautiful Cape Charles and centrally located to many of the area's attractions. Not to mention that it's so easy to get to or from.nIf passing through or looking for a weekend get away, this is definitely THE place to stay.
There isn't a better place to stay. Owners are just down to Earth, friendly people. Nice little place. Cozy pool. Free bar. Fire pit. Just an awesome place. If you're visiting the cape, no other place to stay but here.
