Hotel check in was good but upon entering room, walkie talkie from staff left in room as well as a bunch of leftovers in fridge. Bed is decent. Hardly any water pressure in shower. Room is ok size. Could be cleaner than it was, provided shower supply bottles were dirty.
Housekeeping rarely showed up. Had several room issues. Front desk staff was terrible and rude. Zero customer service skills. That's pretty bad for the hospitality industry. Marvin is the only good worker there. Hire him as the manager!
If u want Co-Vid this is the place to be.... They dont believe in new sheets, blankets, or pillows (All-Stained)... crumbs was left on the counter....and im sorry but come on.... when i stepped in I thought I was in a mini library or a old blockbusters.... they give u dvds to watch for a option...ud83eudd14... negative 10 if u ask me..... My other also broke out in hives from the looks of everything....
Don’t let the 4.1 stars mis lead you, this is a 1 star hotel. I’ve stay at candle wood suites in other cities and states, but the Fredericksburg location is bar far the worst one. I checked in this hotel, viewed my room and then checked out. 1. The toilet was not clean, 2. Bed was unstable, 3. Dishes in the suite was not clean, 4. Kids were above my room, I guess flipping and jumping around. I know COVID is the scare right now and to think you have a unsanitary room make you feel gross. There were no other rooms available, so I requested a refund. I received my receipt with my funds displayed as credited back to me and was told I should see my funds back on my card in 4-5 business days, it has to be approved by a manager. That was 1/08/21 and it’s now 1/21/21 and I haven’t heard from a manager yet for my money! This location is for construction workers or people who need extended stay/live there. Not for leisure or business.
