One of the most relaxing “stay-cations” I’ve had in a long time. The room was gorgeous; breakfast and service were excellent. The innkeeper, Liz is very responsive and staff (Betsy) was warm and welcoming and made a very tasty breakfast. I highly recommend this and the Richard Johnston.
The house was beautiful and our room was gorgeous. Details in every room of the house were impeccable. So we were quite disappointed when breakfast did not receive the same attention it so desperately needed. Could not give this a better rating because as a B&B the breakfast needs to be raised up to higher standard.
Stayed in the Sawyer Scott room. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The only issue was the jets did not work that were part of the tub, tried to press the button to turn it on, but it did not work. My wife forgot her iPad in the room and everybody was very helpful in getting it shipped backed to us. Will stay here again if my wife and I are in the area.
The staff at the house were top notch and made my wife and I feel very welcome and valued. Our room, the Sawyer Scott, was first class all the way. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was beyond luxurious. We were perfectly happy spending time in the house rather than going out. We will definitely be returning!
