Mulberry Inn is an absolute gem. Family run by Peggy and her daughter Taylor, who both were welcoming and so, so nice! Each room was both unique and gorgeous (we got a tour of the house). The furniture dated back to the late 1800s/early 1900s, great condition, clean, which made us feel like we were stepping back in time rather than simply living in an old house. Breakfast was served every morning in a beautiful dining room with fresh orchids on every table. There was a new breakfast menu to choose from every morning....Italian coffee, eggs, French toast and berries, smoothies, biscuits and gravy....under Peggy’s expert care, every morning felt like getting breakfast made by your favorite aunt. This place is perfect for a weekend romantic retreat, although it’s close proximity to Zion, Pink Sands Park, and Snow Canyon made it a great jumping off point. Nothing like coming home to plush towels and homey room after a long day of hiking. Plenty of delicious restaurants nearby for lunch or dinner (we recommend the Painted Pony). Head and shoulders above the other hotels in the area, you get much, much more than what you pay for at this joint. And when we left, Peggy packed us homemade zucchini bread to go. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer...
Wonderful charming and quaint! We loved our stay at the Mulberry Inn. The grounds are beautiful and the location is convenient. You have great dining options nearby in walking distance. The rooms are clean and cozy. They are based around literary themes. Ours was the Fogg suite. Remember the book Around the World in 80 Days? There were cool antique details based on travel in our room. Even an antique model T car with a jetted tub inside! So fun! Our kids loved it too! We had lots of room with access to the front and back porch. Breakfast was amazing and it was delivered to our room. Would highly recommend!!
My wife and I just returned home from a week-long trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Zion. We finished our journey with two nights at this beautifully maintained and thoughtfully furnished historic home in the center of the historic district of St George, Utah. We loved it. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the furnishings all thoughtfully hearken to earlier and simpler times, that is was refreshing just to be in that space. The treelined streets just out the door are beautiful, particularly in the autumn, and the in is very close to fine restaurants and the old downtown. We talked a lot with the owner, Peggy, who was very generous with her time and really educated us about life in this part of the world. We hope to return before too long.
My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at the Mulberry Inn. We started our stay with a tour of all the rooms and were lucky enough to hear some of the history of the furniture and decor at the inn. The location is perfect for fine dining and shopping. We walked to dinner and shopped at a couple local places before coming back for the night.
Staying in such a historic place was exciting for us and we spent the rest of our night reading about the history behind this inn and the stories that preceded our stay.
We felt very welcome and comfortable at our room. It was pristine and clean, but still maintained the historic feel of a home that was built in the 1800's.
We have plans to book the inn for company functions and family retreats and are excited to share this place with everyone we know.
The historic Mulberry Inn is a wonderful bed and breakfast. I was very comfortable in the Josephine room. Throughout, the inn is furnished with charming period pieces. Everywhere was very clean. The owner Peggy is friendly and welcoming. The location is within walking distance of shops and restaurants, which I always love after a long drive. I hope to stay again the next time I am in St. George.
