Painted Hills Vacation - Cottages & Retreat

Beautiful cottages and gardens, each with its own personality. Owner, Barbara, has done an amazing job of making the cottages comfortable and welcoming. Convenient to many sites of interest, including the Painted Hills. Our second visit. Lived up to our expectations without exception.

Barbara Jacobi and her family have created a truly special and wholly original place to stay in Mitchell. My wife and I stayed in the Holly House which is perfect for a couple. The house is decorated with her husband's beautiful paintings of the Painted Hills. The house is surrounded by a garden that is great for bar-b-queing or just relaxing. It reminded me of the gardens i experienced while living in Europe. We will be coming back to Mitchell to stay at Barbara's incredible space.

Great place, very decorative. The garden outside is so unique and colorful. Tou can get lost in all of the colors and comforts of this place. The staff is amazing, and very friendly.
