Mt.Hood Escape at Collins Lake Resort

I was given the wrong key to the wrong room, the first room was filthy and stunk with dirty sheets and towels everywhere, the second room stunk of cigarettes, and both people at the front desk were defensive about the weed smoke in the hallway and the terrible room state. I'll never ever come back here.

A disappointment. We stayed at the South Lodge (#102) over the weekend. The place was nice enough. However, the kitchen was poorly stocked and lacked many basics. It was difficult for us to even cook a meal. We provided feedback to the Management. Their response was that 'we should have called them to let them know (after hours). I suppose that is true, but it misses the point. Paying the kind of money we paid for the place, the kitchen should have been appointed much better - without us having to say something. Residence Inn's do much better. So do many motels...

Come here at least once a year.
