Awesome location in the Columbia gorge scenic area skamania county lots to do hiking windsurfing skateboarding snowboarding seasonals .. activities hunting and fishing skillmania counties located mostly in the United States Forest Department forestry land..nVery active around the highway 14 Lewis and Clark trail and the railroad is busy moving supplies..

Quiet beautiful place people are friendly and more than willing to help you. Bathrooms showers are clean and laundry services are kept up..new facilities on the east side. Kids and pets welcome, however no facilities for them no playtoys or dog parks or poop bag stations. No bark policy is super nice makes the park very quiet and peaceful. staff are ALWAYS working picking up garbage, recycling, tree limbs, leaves etc

Stayed here for about 8 months while working at Mt Hood. They will try to accommodate almost anyone. The owners are great to talk to. While I was there skimmer was the host. Not sure if he is still there but if he is sit down have a chat with him. He's a great host and hard worker.

Friendly host and clean amenities. We were warned about a loud train that goes by, and it does.... But overall we had a great stay.

The on-site host, Skimmer, was so friendly and helpful. He gave us the choice of two sites. The campground is in the process of expanding so it was very simple. There's a great hiking trail nearby. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Wi-Fi worked well.
