Great lodge for what ever getaway reason, beautiful views of Mt Hood and hood river valley . The lodge is in a pear orchard /sheep working farm , but quiet and peaceful , definitely has good photo opps.

This is the B&B to stay at in Hood River. The hosts, the views, the gardens, the breakfast... This place has it all. My wife and I had a wonderful stay. We can't recommend Sakura Ridge enough.

Where do I start, this place is AMAZING! From the moment we entered the gate to the property to when we left, I can't say enough about Sakura Ridge. Due to COVID, there was self check-in, instructions were precise and detailed. We had the River Room, which I thought was the best room ever. It had a PERFECT view of Mt. Hood, but the bed and the bathroom. Both rooms had huge picture windows, which we left open the entire time we were there. We had to enjoy the view with every second we were there. The bed was so comfortable and attention to detail throughout the room made it a place we could have stayed forever. Taking a bath in the ball & clawfoot tub with a view of Mt. Hood was the best way to start your day!nnNow to breakfast, due to COVID our hosts left a picnic basket with the most delicious breakfast, which included on day one, breakfast taco, fresh fruit from their gardens and red cabbage salad. Second day Julia Childs Quiche Lorraine, fresh blueberry (from their garden) coffee cake and green salad. So YUMMY both days!nnNow on to their farm...I can't say enough, what an AWESOME place! They have so much fresh fruit from their varieties of pears, blackberries, raspberries, cherries, all the vegetables, they grown so many, I am sure I am leaving so much out. The sheep on their farm were adorable, although they are there for a reason, but it was so cool to see all that their farm had. My husband and I are so envious. It is peaceful here and you can get lost in the atmosphere, which is exactly what we needed and would recommend it for anyone that wants to stay here, just take in everything!nnThe Lodge is a great location, 5 minutes to town and then within an hour to any place else you would want to go. Everywhere you drive is so beautiful!nnWe say, STAY HERE, it will be truly amazing! John and Deanna, Deidra, we will definitely be back someday! You all are AMAZING host, we thank you for making our stay very memorable that will last a lifetime.

Very good food and breakfast. Excellent views. Very relaxing.nnYou need to drive into town. There is a fridge in your room if you want to have wine or beer since you don't want to drink and drive up there in the evening.nnHighly recommended.

Fabulous in every way...in over 30 years of staying at inns and various bed and breakfast establishment, this is one of the very best, if not the best experience. Deanna and John are wonderful hosts, the accommodations are superb, the breakfasts worthy of posting, and the views of Mount Hood are breathtaking...a group of 9 of us took out all 5 rooms and from start to finish we all had a blast. Definitely 5 star worthy.
