Caprock Inn

We stayed in the new pet TLF. Super nice!! 2 bedroom, a full kitchen, and your own laundry room! The only downfall was the housekeeping needs to work on the cleaning. Our room wasn’t swept very well, the kitchen cupboards were a mess, and the tub needed to be cleaned better.nnAlso note that the housekeepers HAVE to knock on the door everyday to ask if you need cleaning done. We called the front desk and they said since it’s a new build there’s not a do not disturb sign.nAnd If you leave the hotel room your pets (including cats) have to kenneled..

Hands down THE BEST staff and military lodging we’ve stayed in. We stayed in the newly built pet TLF and it has everything you could possibly need. The manager let us stay with our pets for an additional 20 days (on top of the maximum 30-day stay allowance) due to an on base housing mix-up. We were scrambling to find a new accommodation and they saved us from having to stay in what would’ve been our fourth hotel during this PCS! The only downside to the room is that the fire alarm is right next to the stove and it is incredibly sensitive.

Amazing customer service and our room was more like a 2 bedroom apartment. Very clean and comfortable. 100% will be coming back.

This had to be the oldest hotel in military history. First of all the room smelled like the carcasses of the deceist. We could not control the temperature so it would go from semi-cool to cold and then to extreme hot and back to semi-cool again...all in 3 minutes. The toilet would not flush, the water flow was weak and I flushed 3 times before it would finally get down a tissue I sneezed in from all the old dust in the rooms. Things I didn't understand was the bathroom light switch was in the kitchen, the kitchen light switch was in the dining room area and the bathroom sinks was in the bedrooms...who approved this design? The lighting was horrible and depressive. Someone actually accepted this? On the positive we did have a good stove and refrigerator.
