Nice weekend getaway. My 3 day weekend was worth every dollar. The room was beautiful , jacuzzi was awesome. Dining room top notch. Delicious food , quiet atmosphere , cordial service. Have I used too many adjectives ? Probably not. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sawmill Creek !
Sad that we can no longer have our pool tournament there. I love this place.
Course in great shape, but bring your putter .....and prize to anybody without 3putt on these huge greens.
Here for the golf only. The course itself is in dire need of attention. The layout is beautiful and the greens are okay. Not great, just okay. Cartpaths are wearing badly. The fairways were mostly in good shape. The problem I have is the price... This is a $40-18 course MAX and yet Cedar Point is charging $65! Play elsewhere until the course matches the rate because as of now, they are wasting a Fazzio design and real estate.
Sure a little pricey but their 2 for 1 really makes it. A course you should play a least once every year or 2. Lots of challenges let alone the wind of the lake which can chill to the bone in spring and fall. Not my fav but maybe yours. Cedar Fair just bought it last fall. Everbody should play it at least once.nNice course.
