My husband and I stayed here while in the area for medical reasons. For the price, this hotel was worth the stay. The outside looks kind of outdated and the parking lot needs redone, but the inside is newly renovated. There is not an elevator here, which we didn't mind, but just wanted to note that for anyone who requires handicap assistance. There were people in all the rooms close to us but we didn't have any issues with noise. There were a few things in the room that were inconvenient, like having to reset the plug after the heat wouldn't come on and having to tighten the shower door handle because it was super loose. The window shade was also attached to the wall in a way that hindered it from opening. There is a Tim Hortons and several other restaurants close by. Overall, for $65 a night, I would stay here again.
Other than the third shift Miss Jasmine who accommodated us the maids don't want to clean unless you pay for it and we cleaned our own room took out our own trash and then after I left they tried to charge my card $250 for damage fees when we left the room and better condition than when we found it!! Which is why I take videos of every hotel as I'm leaving the room it's just a shame I have to go through all this!!!
Bad hotel. I arrived with my family when I went into the room it had a horrible smell of air freshener mixed cigarettes. The towels were dirty. I then went into the bathroom and noticed towels had brownish stains. the shower was dirty and the sink was not attached right. furniture was broken and scratched I will never stay here again
Bad service and bad staff. The room that we were in didn't have a fridge or microwave and we had booked for five days. They asked us everytime they saw us our last name and room number and treated us like strangers or bums off the road. Definitely wouldn't stay here and I will not be going back.
I wish I could only give one star. The reception desk employee had an additude, the hotel was under construction which was never mentioned in the information provided. We were given a room that someone was already staying in. There were pop cans open paint cans tarps open vacant rooms filled with debris. Then when we went back down to the desk to get the right room the employee threw our room key at us. Got to the room no working air, and the remote had no batteries, when we asked the desk about batteries he said we could come down and get them after putting us on a 10 minute hold. Thee worst hotel experience of my life. 0/10
