Days Inn by Wyndham Columbus East Airport

The staff was very friendly and the shower was clean and had hot water. However, the walls are very very thin. You can perfectly hear a conversation next door even it the aren't talking loud. The room door was bent in at the top allowing you to see into part of the room. The hotel was not pet friendly but it sounded like someone was abusing a dog next door. The comforter felt dirty in places to! I did not stay a single night. I checked out shortly after checking in.

I was so hopeful that this would be a good place to stay based on the lobby's appearance, but it was probably the worst hotel that I've stayed at. I got a non-smoking room, and it reeked of smoke. It didn't start out bad, but every so often the smell would get bad enough that it was like I was in the middle of a group of smokers. I had to stuff a towel across the bottom of the door (there was a sizeable gap there) and leave the bathroom door wide open to try to a) prevent smoke smell from getting pulled in from the hallway and b) to get what was pulled in vented out. That helped, but I kept waking up periodically throughout the night to a really strong smoke smell that made me sick. As soon as I was up the next morning, I was out because I couldn't stand to be in the room any longer. I don't know how other hotels manage having both smoking and non-smoking rooms without having such a smell, but this location clearly needs a few lessons on how to vent those areas properly.nnOther problems included thin walls/ceiling (could hear lots of noises from other rooms and outside, more than what I would consider normal), a filthy room (I found four pieces of cereal plus several little plastic things on the floor, plus a VERY long hair on the tub, and there was what looked rather like a cigarette burn on one spot of the carpet as well), and generally not a very nice neighborhood. I will definitely not be returning.

So for the best rates in town. The rooms are clean and the front staff is very helpful with sleepy travelers. I will be back soon.

Very nice and completely remodeled Awesome Friendly staff. Accomodations are some of the best I've ever seen. Very safe clean With a nice bar inside as well as a Restaurant. Highly recommend.

It was a good day at Days inn the clean respectful and care for their guest. I do appreciate the day I stopped by Days inn. THANK you much appreciated by me.
