Finger Lakes Bed & Breakfast at Hutton Farm

Maggie and Mike were amazing hosts. Very thoughtful, will give you space if you want but are always willing to talk and tell you about the history of the amazing property. Every detail of our stay was amazing. They were able to use real time pieces for furniture and decor without giving the place a stuffy feel. The house and rooms are very clean but still have a home-y atmosphere. Every guest has their own table and coffee area for breakfast to maintain social distancing.nnMy girlfriend and I came for a weekend getaway during Labor day weekend. We thought breakfast would be some donuts and coffee, but we couldn't be more wrong. Maggie is an incredible chef, serving three course breakfasts including fresh fruit and locally sources spices and syrups. She even makes her own soap for the bathrooms! Mike knows all the history of the house and the property and they have spared no expense restoring and preserving the look and history. Like with all old homes, the hot water in the shower can make some squealing noises and the floors do creak. These didn't really bother us at all though.nnThe location is great for those trying to get to the lake, a nice hike, or some drinks in Penn Yan. You can walk to the town in 10 minutes from the B&B. While the food is a little scarce in the town, there are plenty of places driving distance around the lake to eat.nAll in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maggie and Mike give the perfect B&B experience and the area is beautiful for a weekend getaway. We look forward to going back one day.

Beautiful, well kept, uncluttered B&B no more than 30 minutes from just about anything in the Finger Lakes area you'd want to see. Comfy beds, outstanding cooking and delicious baked treats. Cindy and Casey are normal people. I say this first because it cannot be taken for granted at a B&B. Moreover, they're friendly and interested in helping you plan local activities that are perfect for you.

Excellent hosts, and beautiful old house and location. The bed in the Photography Room was great, private bath, enough storage space, and in room air conditioning. We'll definitely recommend to our friends!
