New Paltz Hostel

Love this place, I actually left the Hilton Hyatt to come here..Larry the Concierge couldn't be cooler. I lived in europe for work for many years and I love Hostels.the only thing it didn't have was a flatscreen..Big woopud83dude0b I had my own bathroom. refrigerator..it was my War Bunker..plus a communal kitchen..I'll def be back.ud83dudc4d

New Paltz Hostel feels charming (with painted murals throughout), has a nice location (next to the main bus station) and frugal traveler conviniences (fully equipped kitchen). But the combination of both long and short term guests at the hostel results in a somewhat restrictive entrance-always-locked and 10 PM curfew policy and the facility is a little dated. All in all it's a decent option if you're on a budget and can't find something on Airbnb.

DO NOT BOOK ROOMS AT THIS PLACE RIGHT NOW! I tried booking one for 8/23 and they are apparently closed. Hotels.com took my money and gave me a voucher instead of refunding my money! They have the nerve to keep the hostel up for reservations when they aren't even open! Sketchy.

Horrible place. You spend $40 to sleep on an uncomfortable bed and they treat you like a little kid by not letting you leave early or come back after 10pm. That's absolutely insane. Don't get ripped off. Bring a tent and stay at a campsite for a fraction of the cost and be free

Everything was great besides the 10pm curfew. I understand they do it for climbers (which I was) but it still seems too early.
