Thomas Farm Bed & Breakfast

We had a week-end getaway trip to Ithaca to escape Covid isolation and see family. We had a wonderful stay at Thomas Farm. Everything was pristine and we felt absolutely safe. Nancy and Rich are friendly hosts and we enjoyed their conversation. Breakfasts were delightful, tailored to our likes. Many small attentions made us feel at home with friends.nThe rooms are comfortable while fully retaining their authentic farmhouse character.nThe location is quiet and beautiful. We witnessed a stunning sunrise over sparkling snow from the living room.nThis will be a reliable place to stay for our next visits to Ithaca!

An absolutely wonderful stay in a warm and cozy bed and breakfast. Rich and Nancy are great hosts and Nancy is an excellent cook! She accomodated the different diets in our family and everyone left the breakfast table satisfied. We stayed in Grace's room and we're quite comfortable with our two children. My husband and I are taller than average, but were able to adapt easily to the bathroom space. We had a great stay and would highly recommend!

Wow, there are so many wonderful things I could share about Nancy and Rich. Their 1850s farmhouse bed and breakfast is quaint, peaceful, and picturesque set in the hills just outside of Ithaca. It was the perfect location for us to visit Ithaca and the surrounding Finger Lakes region, as well as go skiing at Greek Peak.nnThe house itself was immaculately clean, with beautiful antique hardwood floors and furnishings throughout. Nancy and Rich were warm and welcoming when we arrived and clearly take pride in their home. You can tell that they genuinely take interest in meeting their new guests and finding any way to make them feel comfortable. Our room was so cozy, with all the necessary amenities to unplug and relax, including an electric space heater that added a little extra warmth to our room.nnI've saved the best part of the review for last; the breakfasts at Thomas Farm B&B are spectacular! It was hard to find something on the plate that wasn't homemade, from Nancy's granola, to her own blueberry yogurt, to the homemade crusts and sourdough bread used in the French Toast bake. It's been a while since I was that satisfied and that full after breakfast. Cheerios at home will no longer suffice. We even had the chance to watch the birds visit feeders outside the windows while we ate, and saw a bald eagle soar by. If we have another opportunity to visit Ithaca, we will most certainly be looking forward to another stay with Nancy and Rich at Thomas Farm Bed & Breakfast :)

Our hosts, Nancy and Rich were more than accommodating. Due to weather challenges, they welcomed us a day early and made our getaway special. We felt totally protected as their COVID protocols were beyond expectations. Our room was pristine and common areas as well. Nancy and Rich advised us on restaurants, waterfalls and a Deeply Divine massage and all were excellent! The breakfasts were amazing and the coffee early, hot and locally roasted! We look forward to visiting again with our extended family.

Nancy and Rich were very welcoming; but we were also given our privacy. There was even a handwritten note in our room stating how much they appreciated our business. For breakfast, they set up a beautiful table near the fireplace and gave us an amazing meal.nWe felt very safe and they had all necessary COVID-related precautions in place. We would definitely visit again. It was beautiful in the winter with the the snow falling.
