Oh my word, we love, love, love the Homestead, its setting nestled among hills, all the amenities, the goodies that come along with a private B&B, and the owners. After a long day of doing many things along the Finger Lakes, there is nothing better than to come home to a fire in the fire pit and having a glass of wine among the beautiful scenery of Brooktondale just outside of Ithaca, NY. This is a real vacation spot!

We came for a family wedding and having 2 toddler grandsons we knew a hotel was going to be restricting. This was so nice because you could do things like at home. The full Kitchen gives you the option to cook and if you forgot something the bathroom had it stocked. We would of loved to have had a night out by the fire pit but in Aug. the temperatures were too hot. The bathrobes were a nice touch because we couldn't pack ours due to limited space. Thanks for helping making our trip so memorable .

This was the most cozy, well decorated, perfectly accomidating place I have ever stayed in. It is decorated perfectly, the view is great. There is lots of yard space for kids to run, a little patio in the back with a large table and chairs. The beds are so comfortable you dont even want to get up in the morning. The woman who owns it is very genuine! She stocked the place with snacks and breakfast foods. Overall the perfect getaway for my family!

This place was a very nice place to stay if you are in the Ithaca area! It is located about 29 minutes away from Cornell University and downtown Ithaca. It is in the countryside so the scenery is pretty amazing. There is free WiFi and Netflix which is nice. At first when we arrived there was less beds than we thought. We called Debbie and she quickly arranged a roll away bed for us. The history family was really nice and very hospitable. The kitchen was stocked with bread, bagels, coffee, and stuff to make smores with. This was very nice, because then we didn't have to find somewhere for breakfast every morning. If you are visiting Ithaca I would definitely recommend staying here if you have enough people. Oh! And there was a washer and dryer for use! That was a big bonus!
