This place is fantastic. Celeste is the most generous and gracious host you could ever hope for. The rooms are gorgeous, incredibly comfortable, and well appointed. The Nespresso coffee machines are a MAJOR bonus. The grounds are picture-perfect. The town is steps away. We are going to come back regularly because this getaway spot is simply ideal. Thank you Celeste and Moonriver Inn!

The Moonriver has it all! The location is superb, tucked away and quiet, but so convenient to shops, restaurants, and other attractions. The rooms are charming, well-stocked with amenities, and really comfortable (amazing beds!). The gardens and seating areas outside made me feel like I was at a European guesthouse.nBut any review must give praise to Celeste, the owner, who communicated with me from the moment we booked our stay until the moment we were gone ... and made a complicated trip (delayed flights, etc.) easy; how nice it was to sink into that bed on arrival. Other notes: it is quiet enough that we felt like the only guests, there is plenty of parking, and Narrowsburg really lucked in with Celeste and Moonriver.

I had a fantastic stay at the Moonriver Inn this past week. It’s within walking distance to town, where there are excellent restaurants overlooking the river, art galleries, and shops. The nearby canoeing was beautiful, with just the right amount of rapids. The rooms at Moonriver are luxurious and peaceful. Full of lovely accents. Celeste and her sidekick Poppy are fun to be around! Definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in the Sunrise Room at Moonriver. The inn is the perfect location whether you want to do lots of things (hiking, dining, shopping, swimming, rafting, historical tours) or nothing at all. Moonriver is a block from the handful of unique shops and restaurants in Narrowsburg and from the bridge across the Delaware River that connects NY to PA. We enjoyed reading in the sun on the large rocks and taking a quick swim in the river's deepest point at the base of the bridge. The Sunrise Room was romantic and charming with a very cozy bed and a claw foot tub. I enlisted my husband's help to prevent spraying water all over the room when I washed my hair which was surprisingly sweet. Our room didn't have a TV (I believe the other rooms do) which I LOVED. The large yard behind the inn leads to a lovely view of the river, with several different sitting areas to relax and enjoy the landscape and the garden. There are two fire pits and plenty of wood for bonfires in the evening. Celeste was so gracious and helpful with tips on dining and activities. She even loaned us her own dry bags for our Lander's tubing trip from Skinners Falls. We can't wait to go back!
