Radisson Hotel Corning

Easily one of the consistently best hotels in the area. Top notch staff, tasty food, excellent bar for locals and visitors alike. short walk to downtown Gaffer District shopping, The Rockwell Museum, and a slightly longer walk to the Corning Museum of Glass

The first impression is amazing. There's a waterfall in the lobby and plentiful rocks and plants. Then there's the restaurant that's only open certain days of the week certain meals. No dinner Tuesday or breakfast Wednesday, even if you pay for it in your reservation. Instead you get a bagel or English muffin, piece of fruit, and yogurt or granola bar in a bag. Bagel was tough but toasted, yogurt not quite cold.nnBut the rooms are not so impressive as the lobby. I could hear the lobby music and the piano in my room on the third floor since it's an open ceiling up. Ask for an end room. There was bird poop across the window, dirt on the tissue box, hair in the sink, strands of the bath rugs in the tub, and the bed sheets unmade like they got distracted vacuuming and moved them up and forgot to put them back down.nnThe outdoor hot tub and fitness center are understandably closed for covid, but the pool was open. It was on the cooler side and I couldn't get in it. There were kick boards and the handicap lift to lower you in if needed. Towels were shredding their edges.nnThe internet was spotty at night, could only get on a minute at a time every hour or so, but it was fine in the morning.nnAC worked great but the room smelled like furnaces just turned on again.nnLocation is walking distance to many restaurants and very close to the glass museum. Couldn't ask for a better location!nnIf it was cleaner, would have been an easy 5 stars, even with covid restrictions.

Loved staying here, the staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The location is perfect for market street shopping and the glass museum! Looking forward to coming back soon!

Love this place, nicest caring people that are around and the staff of the Radisson are the best and may God Bless them all
