Worste hotel on Long Island. Room smelt like smoke, bugs in the room, and internet didn’t work. Asked for a refund and they refused because I wondered the room. Please for your own good, don’t stay in this terrible motel.
I stayed a few times at the Gateway inn. I like the option of having a choice between a smoking and non-smoking room. You can ask for a refrigerator for a small fee. Overall I thought it was quiet and peaceful. Need more pillows on the beds. But a vey nice place. The front entrance is on Sunrise hwy, right after the 7-11.
Staff and manager are indifferent towards guests. Wifi is shotty at best. Some rooms do not get a wifi signal, so ask for a room that has it. However, they have independent heating and ac for each room. Prices are increased for holidays. 7-eleven is next to the hotel, so that's a plus.
It was ok I wish it had a refrigerator and microwave and the room had a weird smell bed was very comfortable and the price was good
I was there on july 24th of 2020 and the first room the bathroom had about 5 inches of water in it. The next room was just as bad. When the room directly above me flushed their toilet the water came down through my bathroom vent. No good. I have been here many times but this has been the worst. My advice is not to visit here if it's raining. I wss there because my home caught on fire.
