Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Mount Morris, NY

I drove over 4 hours to get here and while I was driving a charge came out of my bank card that was supposed to be only for reservations to hold the room.nI also had my member account to get the discounted rate. But I got charged the whole amount. I get here and the front desk said I didn’t have a reservation. I explained to her that I called earlier in the day to get a room and they did that. She called another guest and asked what name they checked in under and then she told them that they had to come back out to the desk to get their information. She didn’t ask me for ID or a card to pay with or incidentals. So I asked her how that happened and she said she didn’t know she didn’t take my reservation. So basically someone checked in under my information and used my card on file for the room. I didn’t get to apply the members reward discount or anything. I’m more concerned that someone checked in with my card on file.nI called customer service and they said that I have to wait on the hotel to call me back to explain what happened. Which I’m pretty sure that she will say it was a system issuenPs. On a positive note it has Clean rooms

Country Inn & Suites staff and hotel were fantastic. Knew all the good places to eat in the area. Definitely will stay here again when in the area.

Very nice place...this is a 4 plus star rating. Would of been a 5 star if the pool was not down for maintenance. My daughter is like a fish, so our first hotel stay since Covid and she was extremely upset about the pool. I guess that is just our look. Would highly recommend this place. Very clean, and very Covid compliant.

I can't speak on anything other than my room as it was a long night and I was only there to sleep not to observe the amenities or the overall environment. First, the front desk was courteous and very nice. I checked in without any issue, was able to get my room keys. Although the people I was with were disappointed with what they said that they had to offer for breakfast, I didn't take issue, one because of covid and knowing that there would be restrictions on what they offer that was socially distant. And two, I wasn't going to eat the breakfast because of my allergies.nnThe room was spacious. I was a bit cold and I couldn't figure out how to adjust the thermostat. That could have been a problem on my end. Television worked well. The microwave worked well. I didn't use the refrigerator. The bathroom was clean. I did chuckle at the fact that there was barely any toilet paper on the roll but the cleaner still folded it to make a design.nnThe window faced the parking lot and there weren't dark enough blinds/ curtains to block the view of the car parked right by my window. I don't think anyone could see inside, but it was a bit creepy to have a car that someone was inside of ( perhaps waiting for their party) right by the window.nnThe beds were clean as was the carpet. The only thing I did make note of was the light by the entrance door was flickering off and on.nnI didn't get to experience the hotel other than my room. Overall I found it to be pleasant and a good experience. The four stars is simply because of the minor issues. I would recommend anyone who is in the area to check it out.
