Kaatskill Mountain Club

This is a really nice hotel, beautiful big lobby with floor to ceiling windows and a great stone fireplace. You can see the ski lift from the lobby and the swimming pool. There's a cute seating area outside the lobby also. The rooms are good sized and the beds were so comfortable! The bathrooms were great too, great water pressure and hot water! Our room had a view of the mountains opposite the ski mountain but pretty and there was a nice gas fireplace, a big flat screen TV and a kitchen with a full size stove, fridge, microwave, dish washer and coffee maker. The rooms were cozy and clean. You could walk to the mountain to ski or they have a shuttle from the hotel, it's a short 3 min drive. I think there are 3 trails to ski on and a bunny trail for the kids. There's a souvenir shop and food too. Great place to bring the family!

Nice, clean condos near the Hunter Mtn ski hill. Spacious one bedroom had kitchen and a jacuzzi tub in the room, handy since the outdoor hot tub was closed due to Covid. There was no ski in/ski out trail because of lack of snow but hotel was close by and a quick drive (went midweek, so easy to park nearby). Nice staff.

I rarely write reviews, but the service is terrible here. We booked a Queen bed room with balcony and when we checked in the bed was a twin and no balcony. It would have been fine if they politely said they made a mistake, but this rude and nasty receptionist named PATTY told us if you don't like it you can leave. I don't understand why they put such a nasty and miserable person in reception. I understand they have monopoly, but this is no way to treat your costumer. Very disappointing. A very nice young gentleman came and he was polite and courteous. That's all we wanted a polite and calm person to at least explain to us why we didn't get the room that we paid for! That's all

Stay was Fine, however THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR EPIC 20% discount. I'm sure they are struggling, I get it, COVID is tough to stay in business, but why rip off the customers who are willing to come and spend money? AVOID this place. NOT worth it during COVID.

Such a terrible experience, I worked hard and so looking forward for this trip!nHot top was closed! Pool was so cold! Poor, poor customer service! At the end they said if you are not happy you can go! I don’t recommend this to anyone!nThey ruined my vacation!
