The Twilight Lodge

Helped book this hotel for my boyfriend’s ski trip to Hunter— very easy access to slopes, only a 12 minute drive. We were impressed with cost and quality of The Twilight Lodge. Free breakfast was a great bonus! Cozy rooms with fully stocked TV channels. Shower was hot with great water pressure. Caretaker was very helpful and gave the boys an extra bagel and muffin for the slopes! They will definitely stay here on their next ski trip.

Very nice place to stay! The owner has the antique shop downstairs and if you get the chance to ask her she has collected things from all over the world! Very very nice lady. The beds were comfortable and they even let me check in early (noon or 1 pm). Would highly recommend.

Beautiful little lodge in the mountains. The owner was extremely welcoming and the space was great. We stayed two nights and had breakfast waiting for us each morning. The place had a unique vibe with antique art and an eclectic design. The antique shop below has an amazing selection as well including some handmade works of art from the owner.

My brother and I took a spontaneous roadtrip to the Catskills and stayed at the The Twilight Lodge. Our expectations were exceeded! The Host was very kind and came out to great us when we arrived. He upgraded our reservation since we were the only ones there that night ( we went in the middle of the week) The room was very cozy. I was also taken back by the attention to little details such as super soft towels, really good quality linens, and hiking maps in each room. By the time you get to breakfast, your own personal place settings with a pastry basket, fruit, yogurt, OG... are made. The location is also very convenient for hiking and especially if you plan on visiting kaaterskills falls. You just can’t beat the quality, hospitality and price! I’m remembering this one

Great location, close to a lot of things. The room was very clean and comfortable. The antique shop is cool too.nnThe real reason for the 5 star review is the ownership. Greg and Barbara were outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a nice relaxing stay. When we arrived Barbara was eager to show us around the antiques shop and all of the artwork she has made and the things shes collected from all over the world. This morning we had a beautiful breakfast. The spread was perfect and plentiful and everything was fresh. Barbara sat and talked with us for a while. She told us about what it was like coming to America and starting her businesses, and what it was like to grow up in Hungary before she immigrated here. She really wears her heart on her sleeve and is a very genuine and generous human. She invited me back for a big Hungarian picnic they're planning for the summer, and you bet I'll be there. So glad we got to meet them and I plan on staying there every time we go back to visit the Catskills. She even gave my girlfriend a handmade gift before we left. This place was honestly one of the best parts of our trip. Very long winded review, I know, but I feel like it's not even enough. There's too much to type. I want people traveling to this area to know how absolutely fantastic these people are.
