Four Seasons Motel

Reserved a smoking room but got a non-smoking one instead not being told about the fact. Thinking that housekeeping forgot to replace the ashtrays I went to the front desk to get some and was told then about the non-smoking status and that the smoking rooms were not up to code so they couldn't rent them out.nnThe motel should have called me to let me know about the smoking rooms when they were closed to let me decide whether to keep the reservation or to cancel since the smoking requirement was on the reservation.nnThe room itself wasn't the worst one we've ever had but it was tolerable for the night. Everything worked and the bedding and towels were clean.

Worst hotel experience ever. Filthy, see pics. Leaky sink, poor water pressure. Moldy shower, stained towel. Stained carpet, torn carpet, filthy runner placed over torn carpet between beds. TV didn't work. Proprietor rude. Said TV worked before I arrived, essentially calling me a liar. Said room was clean. Paid 2 nights, stayed only one. Left feeling upset, not refreshed for my work day. Proprietor treated me very badly when I said I wanted to leave because I was so unhappy. Asked for refund, told I would have to wait till Monday. Called Tuesday and was told if I came in I could get back $40 of $150 spent. I was 4 hours from home!! I did go back in when I had more clients to see. Proprietor was nicer when giving refund. Probably would not have left a review, except the proprietor was awful to me, lectured me when I complained. Said it was my fault for not complaining when I arrived, but I didn't get there till after 11, so late office was closed and they left keys under mat rather than greet me.

This hotel is small n cozy n I would stay there again.n1being bad 5 being good it was good

I thought it would be a nice stay for overnight, but the light wasn't working in the bathroom, it had a step up and over into the shower which isn't handicapped friendly at all. They didn't have a mattress cover on the bed just a fitted sheet. They really should think about upgrading the rooms.

Utter dump. Avoid at all cost. Nice staff, though. Too bad place is so gross.
