Walmart Pharmacy

Horrible place to get prescriptions. Everyone else is nice but there is this one lady that works as a traveling pharmacist goes by the name Cathryn not sure how u spell her name she has dark hair very rude individual. She made me super uncomfortable an was asking personal questions. I'll never go there again bc of her.

To no fault of the pharmacy staff. There just isn't enough. Staff of the pharmacy needs to be doubled.

Husband has been on pain medication for over a year with a monthly prescription from a pain management doctor. We use this Pharmacy for all our other medications so figured we would do the pain medication. The first few months there were no issues but for the last few months there have been issues with the medication not being in stock and twice his pill count was off by one. The last time this happened i informed the Pharmacist and was told hmm that's odd Told her didn't want to make a big deal just wanted her to be aware. Now my husband went to his pain management Doctor on 7/10. His prescription was put in . I called the Pharmacy to make sure the Medication is in stock and was told rudely that it was a day early and it would be ready tomorrow. Waited till late afternoon the next day and got no notification that the script was filled. Called the Pharmacy and after being on hold for 10 minutes was told they were out of medication and can't promise when it would be in.I know in this day and age pain medication has become a hot topic and there is an epidemic of some people abusing these drugs but my husband has documented physical issues and is in a wheel chair and needs this medication to afford him a better quality of life. So when the person casually tells me they don't have it and not sure when it will be in it upsets me especially knowing what it means to my husbands well being. So i Spoke with store manager Brandy and she told me they are having a lot of problems with the Pharmacy and she has no control over that dept. and for me to call 1-800-walmart and file a complaint which i did. Spoke with Josh. Called my pain Doctors office and told them what was going on and was told many other patients were having similar issues with that pharmacy. We had the script changed over to Kinney and picked it up an hour later. If this Pharmacy doesn't want to deal with pain medication or they are having a problem keeping track of their pain medication stock maybe someone from Walmart corp. needs to find out what the problem is and maybe do an audit of all pain medications at this site especially with the high profile pain medications are getting these days.
