The Andes Hotel

My stay here was such a memorable one, even tho it was short. The staff were extremely kind and personable. The Tavern was a fun place to kick back and have some great food and drinks. The location is right in town just a short walk from Wayside Cider and some hiking trails and about 30 minutes from Plattekill ski mountain. The room was clean and had a cool vintage catskill vibe. The value was amazing from the food to the accommodations. I’m looking forward to planning my next trip up to the area and will definitely have it in mind going forward.

Stopped for lunch. They had a prime rib sandwich on special. It was the best sandwich I have had in a long time! Delicious!

Went for dinner. We have been patiently awaiting the reopening and it didn't disappoint. Different management, staff and chef but the burgers were awesome. I hope they will be adding to their menu but so happy to have them back.

This review is just for the restaurant not the hotel.nnUnrefined sports bar food. I had the Harvest salad, which was a bunch or arugula with tiny pieces of other ingredients, soggy and drenched in sauce. Hamburgers with literally one sad piece of lettuce and one piece of tomato. Plus everything is served on plastic and non reusable tableware, which makes it look even more unrefined. Most restaurants are doing using their regular silverware during Covid-19 so there is no excuse for this incredible amount of plastic waste.

People were welcoming and friendly, room was very clean, large, and very comfortable, bar was good and well stocked, dinner was excellent!!
