Wingate by Wyndham Hurricane/Zion National Park

We checked-in last night and the front desk employee Mikayla was very courteous, professional and polite. She was very customer service driven with a kind and pleasant personality. The Wingate is very lucky to have such an excellent employee representing their company. The room is perfect and laid out very nicely with plenty of space for my wife and I. The TV is kind of tricky to use but I am a "low tech" person. Thus, I am having trouble using it. The bed is very comfortable and nice to sleep on. The bedroom nightstand clock was on "Australian" time? Other than that the only areas of opportunity are the closet could have used a few more hangars and a stand for the luggage. We are looking forward to the continental breakfast later this morning.

We stayed in late September ! And Nicholas the guy who took our reservation couldn't be more pleasant and friendly to talk to what a breath of fresh air in today's economy to have a customer-friendly person and Mackayla was an absolute pleasure at the front desk very customer friendly very polite with a sense of humor and plenty of knowledge about the town and where to go in and how far everything was etc she was an absolute joy to deal with extremely rare in the hotel business to find someone with her character! The hotel was extremely clean and much nicer than we anticipated for the affordable price ,very satisfied with it! Would recommended it to anybody coming through Utah without hesitation! Thank you for such a professional staff and clean facility! Two thumbs up!

We loved the room. Spacious, nice view, large parking, helpful staff. Laundry open til late hours was a plus with large machines and dryers, close to plenty of restaurants and the gym was just right. VERY CLEAN, bright white clean towels, nice decor as well. Breakfast was available to take with you only and the food was of course safe in packaging during this time. Definitely would come back.

The stay itself was fine. But the fact that the house keeper did not “find” the clothing I forgot hanging in the closet, even though they are required to check the closet during their housekeeping service really irritates me. Hope that person is enjoying wearing my clothes!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My first experience here and after paying for a larger room, they still gave us a smaller room because they were "sold out" and brought us a roll away but literally dropped it by the door and said it should fit over there, pointed and walked out. Mind, we interrupted his dinner while he was on the clock so I'm sure he was upset about that. We called and let them know there were stains on the comforter, they brought us sheets...not another comforter. So, we called again and a man brought it up. I expressed to him that we haven't had the best experience here and he said okay cool, handed me the comforter and walked away. They won't give us any money back and stated we have to wait for a manager. It's Saturday at 6PM, how do you not have a manager or assistant or anyone that can make a decision. Not one person has reached out and apologized for the inconvenience. As my first time here in Utah, I can say I never want to return 100% off my experience here at this hotel. Don't stay here, even if it's the last hotel left unless you are fine with a dirty room and terrible workers. Oh and not to mention, the doors have been slamming next door since 6AM. UPDATE: don't except to sleep early here, the front desk said they can be loud until 11PM and that if I called the cops they wouldn't do anything. They shared no sympathy at all!!! This place is a joke. And I asked for the manager and she said he just left, but when we called earlier no manager was onsite until tomorrow morning. What in the actual F. I'm livid if you can't tell.
