Nice place great beach!
Mostly great! Some rooms are dated, but the overall experience is pretty good. Only gripes we had were the poor WiFi (which mostly didn’t matter due to the stuff we were doing outside the lodge) and lack of working TV.
So far I have not come across any city in Michigan that took my breath away as much as Homestead in Glenn Harbor did! The view, the atmosphere, golf courses, food, hiking, beaches were all spectacular! Perfect get away for a city people

The Homestead is a nice resort. We're here in the off season so many places aren't open or have only weekend hours. We stayed in Stoney Brook Lodge, which was nice, but could use some wall decor to warm it up. And lodge room #4 has an extremely bright light right outside the bedroom window making it almost impossible to sleep. The room needs black out curtains. It was like sleeping with the lights on. We tried hanging clothes and even towels over the window. That helped a little, but seriously we should have just asked for another lodge room. By the third night we were both exhausted.
