Its a peaceful place. Clean room. manager was very good
Pretty good hotel, nothing extraordinary. Nice view, but my favorite part? The Waffle Maker.
Nice looking place inside and out. Comfy pillows. Beds were attached firm but not uncomfortable. Room was spacious and clean. 2 queen beds and decent though slightly dated decor. Small TV made viewing from reclined position less than ideal if you care about that sort of thing.
Not a bad little place. Of course it’s in the middle of nowhere, which can be said for most places in the UP. No thrill hotel but does a good job. Clean and comfy. Summer price was a tad steep and would have liked a coffee pot in the room or lobby.
Three weeks ago my family and I stayed in Paradise for the first time we were vacationing.we left early morning and after we crossed the bridge to head back home we realized that are 8 year old daughter had left her Castle Rock rocks in room 111 my daughter was in tears so I decided to call the front desk I spoke with a lady named Billy she did in fact find them in room 111 and she would send the rocks via pay upon delivery which was fine by me I was willing to pay anything to get those back for my daughter.my daughter has checked the mail every day for the last 3 weeks and still haven't received any rocks I have also stayed home a lot more than normal the last 3 weeks in case they were delivered to the door and haven't received them I think it was very mean to do that to an eight-year-old girl. Also the building as well as the room had an awful smell that we could hardly stand. I had to clean the bathtub in our room myself in order to bathe our 7 month old.we were charged over $100 for the room in my opinion it should have been more like $50
